Dave, 22 Mag only in this 22Mag only Cylinder. NAA does sell 22LR Cylinder to fire 22LR, 22L or 22 Short. The 22 Magnum cartridge has different diameter/dimensions case wise compared to the diameter of 22lr,long and 22 short.

no you cant use 22lr, 22l or 22 short in a 22mag without having a separate cylinder the 22 mag case is fatter that the standard 22 rim fire cases (22lr, 22l or 22 short ) to fire a standard 22 in a 22mag cylinder will cause split cases and blow by and possible injury
