John, this is not recommended due to safety and warranty reason (especially with the "High Power 454Casull"). I would get the most accurate answer directly from Taurus (since they built this pistol and will know best) at their Customer Care Call Center - (800) 327-3776 Monday thru Friday* - 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (EST).

NO! NO! NO! please do not fire the more powerful .454 Casull round through this revolver Taurus will tell you to not do it
