Carlos, I always opt for the "Parkerized" Finish when possible. Since this is a standard finish model, you should be fine with proper maintenance/lubrication. I would also just store it in an anti-rust bag for firearms just in case.

If you care for the gun properly it will not be a issue. 1 don't store it in a cloth sleeve/case 2 wipe down with a good oilly/greasy rag when done handling the gun store in a dry place. If you store it in a safe put a dehumidifier in the safe (I use a golden rod). 4 never place a wet/damp gun in any case
