They are both accurate enough but I would chose the Ruger due to the huge selection of aftermarket upgrade parts available

Christopher, these two pistols are about as close in function/features as you can get. My personal choice would be the Ruger Mark IV. This is due to my owning one and it is reliable and accurate.
