I just bought my first revolver, a used Model 10 SW from Buds. The forcing cone is damaged from the cylinder hitting the cone. It has actually dented the cone for probably 75% of its thickness. Is this gun safe to fire?

The cylinder shouldn't be touching the forcing cone at all. You need to take this to a qualified gunsmith before you even think about firing it.
