Jonathan, yes, it will. Barrel extensions attach at the tube end past the Barrel Lug. The actual barrel will not hinder adding a tube extension.

because of the the way it attaches to the magazine tube it will not work with a extended mag. On the Mossberg 500 the barrel attaches to the front with a knurled bolt so there is no way for the shells to pass through the barrel attachment point Remington 870 are easier to put a extended mag on as the barrel attaches outside of the mag tube
