Yes bipod, yes synthetic, this will allow the gun to swivel on the bibod as I understand it. But I haven't used one.

It is an attachment for a bipod that mounts the same way your sling swivel would. It allows your gun to rotate while on a bipod. This particular modern will work on wood or synthetic stocks. I have confirmed all this information.
