How does the XD Defender Series differ from the regular XD Series? Pics looks the same and the Springfield Armory website gives no clue of the difference.

Looking on other gun sites, people are saying the differences are this is just the regular basic xd without all the extras to keep the price lower. Comes WITHOUT case only cardboard box, no extra mags only ONE magazine, no fast loader. Just the basics for the lower price point... this is the info I seen elsewhere...
