Ruger AR 15 is reviewed as more accurate than S&W SPORT II. Agreed? Is after market precision mods the way to get the best? from who?

They are so close that you just pick one and be happy I got the Sport II because I got the best price on it and I could not be happier I sure I would have been just as happy with the Ruger

Daniel, my choice would be the Ruger due to the better accuracy. Quality and features are essentially the same and both are very reliable given their price points. Given these facts, Ihe increased accuracy tips the scale for the Ruger in my opinion. YMMV. The AR market for precision mods is quite vast for either platform.

I own a Colt 6920 and the Ruger. For the price you can't beat the Ruger.
