I noticed the glock 22 was a little big for my hand in the gen 3 and the glock 23 gen 3 fit my hand really good. Since the gen 4 have a smaller handle will the glock 22 gen 4 fit my hand the same as a g23 gen 3? Or should I go with the g23 gen 4?

Alejandro, given your hand fitment with the Glock 22 Gen 3, I would take no chances and go with the Glock 23 Gen4. One way to get the absolute answer is to slide down to a local gun store and handle them firsthand. This will leave no doubt before purchase.
