sorry its not on the CA DOJ approved list (there are no CA approved Remington handguns) https://www.oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns

Juan, no, the Remington R51 has not been currently approved for the California DOJ Approved Roster. (No Remington Pistols are at the moment).
