Elic, the Kimber Micro Carry Advocate 380 is a "Single Action" Pistol. It has the same "Single Action" operation as any standard 1911 pistol.

It is a typical 1911 style single action pistol. the hammer must be 'cocked' for each round, either by hand, or by the action of the slide itself, when the pistol cycles.
