not sure what you are asking do you need a recoil spring, recoil spring guide. if so wolf makes great springs and Wilson combat has most of the other parts. why not call ATI and get factory replacements phone 800-290-0065

It depends whether you plan on firing full loads or hand load down for target use. Wolf springs can be had in many pound ratings. Best talk to a pistol smith or gun shop.

Joel - in my 30+ years of owning, shooting and working on 1911's I have learned that Wolff springs are the best I have found for replacing pretty much any spring in any 1911. Their prices are fair, and their customer service very good. You can check them out at Gunsprings.com. I think you would need a 22 lb spring for an officer's model, but Wolff will know for sure if you call them. If you are replacing the entire assembly including the recoil guide rod, there are several different manufacturers that make good quality parts. Wilson Combat, Ed Brown, Les Baer, and any of the manufacturers of quality 1911s could probably take care of you. Buds stocks some Wilson Combat parts, and would be a great first place to check. There are just so many options available for 1911 parts.
