The serial number is on the bar code sticker on the box. And you got proper id & the gun is in your name it should not be a problem.

Yes. I would take proper ID,purchase receipt(print-out if bought online) if available. If no receipt then at least have the contact information of whom you purchased it from and you should have it covered.
