The barrel is 10.5". This means the muzzle device is probably pinned. (On the 106UR Pistol, the threads on the front sight block are turned down and the muzzle device pressed onto the front sight block.) If the same is true of the SAM7K-01, then removing the pinned muzzle device and replacing it with something more functional becomes somewhat of a pain in the butt, as there isn't enough left on the front sight block. You would then either be forced to turn down the front sight block and thread the barrel itself, or replace the front sight block in its entirety (no small undertaking).
