Irv, Yes this firearm has a match grade stainless steel barrel.

Yes it is. The entire pistol is made to National Match specifications. The chamber on the 45 is unsupported and will accept most any ammo even it if does not gauge so it is more reliable than the match grade supported chamber on the 9mm barrels that will accept only gauged ammo. Accuracy is excellent with either.

Yes sir, it comes with a match barrel. This model also comes with a lowered & flared ejection port and the Delta style Hammer. Springfield turns out some nice 1911s, for sure, and their factory triggers are usually pretty nice. Customer service is great, in my experience.
