Garrett, a Ruger LCP does not normally contain a dash in the serial number. I'm not aware that Ruger ever used a 'dash' for any LCP model. You could contact Buds by phone or the chat feature on this web site, or better yet, contact Ruger customer service at 1 (336) 949-5200, and see if they would verify, but I really don't think any LCP serial number contains a 'dash'. No.....Should be a 9 digit number with no dashes.
