Shane, I do not personally own the Shadow 2 but there are plenty of unbiased reviews available (and they are excellent) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_MatypTDSw
I have one and really like it. It is a very soft shooting and accurate 9mm. My 13 year old son doesn't like shooting my plastic 9mm handguns but he likes shooting the Shadow 2.
I had one and shot it for a year. It was a very accurate and reliable pistol at first. The front sight came loose several times and CZ said it could be brazed in to remedy it. Seems the nitride treatment of the slide hardened the metal to the point that it would loosen. Then there was excessive wear of the kidney and slide stop. The pistol also dipped more than I liked. After 26,000 rounds I sold it. The original Shadow from the Custom shop is a much better gun. Handles better and the 2 I had lasted over 80,000 rounds before needing any work. The Shadow 2 did win me top Super Senior in Production at the Area 2 Championship and I placed high enough overall to pick an Optic ready XDM from the prize table. I'm shooting a Shadow again and liking it more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTB-xEJ97BM
Its hard to give an opinion on a gun because they typically aren't a one size fits all and with a firearm with this type of price tag I would definitely recommend visiting your local dealer and taking your time with it. Might be good to watch plenty of youtube videos from YouTubers that you have come to trust Hickok45 comes to mind and is a household name at Buds, It might also be a good idea to see if your local gun range may know someone that owns one or may have one you can shoot as I have found gun guys and gals are very nice and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Good luck!
I had one, it has a nice trigger and is a lot of gun for the money. For me, it wasn't as good as my STIs or CZ Tactical Sport. I really didn't like the tapered slide of the Shadow 2, for whatever reason the Tactical sport is easier for me to pull the slide back on. Check out the EAA Witness Tanfoglio Match Elite models as well, they're very good guns.
