Hi - Well, looking at the Ruger web site, it appears this particular model has been discontinued. They are out of stock in most other places. Ruger no longer lists a .22LR Blackhawk on their web site. So this may be "New - Old Stock" ... i.e. a new gun that has been in stock for an extended period. The Single six is available in .22LR and can come with a .22 Magnum cylinder. There isn't a lot of difference in the two, other than the single six has a fluted cylinder, and costs almost $200 more than this Blackhawk. This might be a neat gun to have, simply because "they don't make 'em anymore". LOL. There is no way I could know the manufacture date, as I am not a Buds employee and do not have acces to their inventory to check this, but you might be able to get that information from Buds customer service, at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am - 7pm Sun (7 days a week). Eugenijus, this is a discontinued model that was replaced by the "Single Six". Ruger made some improvements to smooth-en the action and decrease the weight with a fluted cylinder on the Single Six. They also made available an optional 22Magnum Cylinder to the Six for added power for small game hunting. Its out of production and Ruger is not making a Bisley model in the single six series I suggest searching the major auction sites like Bun Groker and Auns Gmerica swap 1st letters
