I only see 1 sling attachment on the butt stock. How does the sling attach to the upper receiver? Is the a specific sling recommended for this rifle?

Mike, Any sling will work. Pick one you like. Front sling mount is QD attach option under front A2 sight on the bottom of bayonet lug/sight
