Kevin - the Grips must be for a standard Government model/Full size 1911, and any grips so designated will work just fine. . As far as sights, different manufacturers use different size dovetail mounts. On this particular 1911, the sight cuts in the pistol's slide are Front Sight(Dovetail) 0.330" x 65 Deg. Rear Sight(Dovetail) 0.495" x 65 Deg. You will need these dimensions when you change the sights. And most sights will require fitting, as foreign manufacturers will often get the dimensions of their sight cuts "close to" what they should be, but just "not quite" precise. But fitting would most likely be required for pretty much any pistol when changing the sights, foreign or American made.
