No, Jim, those letters after the "32" have some specific meaning ... and if one ignored that and tries to interchange these two cartridges .. one very quickly understands the significance of the letters. Please don;t even try it.
No, it will not safely chamber. Only use ammunition of the same caliber your firearm is marked for. They may both be .32 caliber cartriges, but they are entirely different. For example, you wouldn't try to chamber a .280 remington in a rifle chambered 7mm mag right?
