Timothy, yes it is Sir. I own several Galco's ranging in age from 16 years old to 2 weeks and the hold up and do what they were designed to do exceptionally well. Cheers!

Timothy - In my opinion, Galco is a quality product. they ake some of the best looking, best finished holsters on the market - as far a mass produced holsters.Their leather is just a bit thicker and heavier than many others. Their products fit very well the guns for which they are designed. That said, I've found Tagua also makes a good looking, good fitting holster that stands up well, as does Bianchi. Galco probably will be a bit more durable in the long run than either of the other two - but one does pay a bit more too. It's sort of a trade off, between what one values in a holster and how much money they want to spend. For my money, I'll go with Bianchi or Tagua pretty much all the time. But if I wanted that extra bit of 'spit and polish' and wanted to be sure I was getting a great holster, I'd not hesitate to spend the extra money for a Galco. Hope this helps. most of the time yes the quality of the leather and the fit and finish are much better that being said there are some great generic holster available it just depends on who makes them. I would only buy a generic for everyday carry if I could look at and handle the holster 1st
