Nnamdi, yes this will work but will extend past the grip slightly.
Yes they will work. As mentioned, this magazine will protrude down below the grip of your 1911. I personally have learned the higher quality mags available for 1911s will provide more dependable service, such as Chip McCormick, Wilson Combat or Tripp.
