Yes sir they will work just fine. 1911s are great for magazine compatibility. Enjoy that Champion - nice 1911.
Full size magazines like the Kimber 8 round mags should fit with the excess length hanging out of the bottom of the gun; however, I would be cautious about the potential to over-insert those magazines in the smaller frame of this gun which may cause jamming.
Andrew, yes, other than extending just a tad, they will lock in and function just the factory Magazines.

It will definitely fit. How reliably the magazine feeds is another story.
