Joseph, the carbine magazines should technically fit into the pistol but due to the differences in baseplates between the pistol and carbine you may find that they don't seat securely and cause more failures. As for the other way around, I have not tried putting a pistol magazine in the carbine as I don't own one. From what I have read the large pistol magazine baseplate gets in the way.
Joseph, yes Sir, but they will wiggle slightly. The 10 round carbine mags will fit the C9, sort of...they tend to wiggle some, and stick out. ****Reason***** The ten round 9mm pistol mag will not work in the 995 simply because of the block on the bottom but the 995 mag will work in the pistol.
