Brayden, yes Sir it is removable. The receiver/slide is Drilled and Tapped for the "Removable" Top Weaver/Picatinny Style Rail.

Brayden, yes the top rail is held on by a few small screws that can easily be taken out.

Brayden - it is "easy-peasy" to remove and/or reinstall the top rail on Ruger Mark 22LR pistols. Just mounted with three (I believe) screws (maybe two, but I think 3) You might want to leave it on and try this with a red dot installed. Makes for a fun and accurate shooting little pistol.
