Jacob, the Chiappa Firearms RAK-22 does not have a side scope mount bracket. You will need a dust cover with a rail built on to it.
Jacob, scope/optic mounting may be difficult with this rifle as it does not accept a side mount and the dust cover is also non-standard so I would expect finding a railed dust cover might be difficult. For remaining options, you could look at a rail that replaces the rear sight but this is less than ideal. The height of said rails are a bit awkward and the removal of the rear sight and mounting of the rail can be difficult. Here is one example I found doing a cursory search: https://www.amazon.com/Strike-Industries-Profile-Optics-Rifles/dp/B007KD3V88
Jacob - my experience with these particular firearms is limited, but in general I've never had good luck with mounting a scope on the 'dust cover' - just not solid enough, and they tend to not hold zero well. I'm confident you could probably find, somewhere, a dust cover with a rail that would fit, but in my opinion, it just isn't worth the effort and expense. If you're looking for a 'plinker' this would be a good one using the open sights. If you're looking for a 'tack driver' 22LR, you may want to look at one of Bud's other options, such as the Ruger precision rimfire rifle https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/58511/ruger+precision+rifle+22lr+15%2b1+colapsible%2ffolding+stock
You need to find a dust cover with a rail that fits your gun. If that doesn't work, then see if you can replace the rear sight and install a rail. Best of luck to you!
There is a way but you might have to get some aftermarket components. These are customizable until a certain extent. They are very fun rifles. If you have difficulties finding something you can always have a qualified gunsmith to work on something. They might end up costing more you might want to look at an alternative AK rifle.
