Mario - CT is so restrictive on "assault weapons" it's pretty much impossible for find an actual AR-15 that would be compliant. One would lose the hi-cap mag, the folding stock, the flash suppressor, the threaded barrel and the pistol grip. .... and that doesn't leave much resembling an AR. And if you aren't 21, no semi-auto rifles at all that accept detachable magazines. You can;t even get a Hi-Point carbine. All I could suggest is visiting local firearms dealers, finding something there that is compliant, and then checking Buds to see if they can beat the local prices. Good luck my friend. There might be some, but I haven't found them.

I'm a CT resident and if you want a traditional AR, you pretty much need to find a pre-ban lower, but they are becoming less common and more expensive (at least 1k for just the lower). You can buy a S&W M&P 15-22 (22lr) rifle with a fixed stock non-threaded barrel, and 10 round mags. The other alternative a lot of people are opting for is a "other firearm" from manufacturers such as Troy, which is very similar to an AR pistol, but CT legal.
