Rod, as long as you are buying a long gun (handguns must be sent to FFL) in Kentucky you can take it back to Ohio without needing to send it to an Ohio FFL, just make sure the gun you are buying is legal to own in Ohio.

Shouldn't be a problem at all Rod, provided you pass the Background check.
