Shawn - I am of the opinion this would be considered a 'copy' of an AK47/74, which duplicates the operating characteristics of an AK47/74 ..... ... and therefore not legal in CT. However, that is just my opinion, and I would strongly suggest you consult a local FFL dealer and get their opinion, as they deal with this stuff on a daily basis. My experience is that if something can be interpreted in different manner, the state will always interpret it in the manner tht works on their behalf ... i.e. ruling it non-compliant.

It should be legal but I would really check with a local FFL just to be sure
