Peter, this should be a smoothbore barrel so rifled slugs should work fine. The muzzle brake should not affect slug performance and also it should be easily removable as I believe it is just a beretta/benelli pattern Mobilchoke with an extension to act as a breaching standoff/brake.

Peter - yes you can fire slugs in this shotgun. The brake will not affect the slugs at all.

Peter, the Muzzle brake Installed is Fixed Cylinder Bore and is fine for firing slugs.
