Hi Traci - this will fit you Mosin, without any permanent modification. You could remove this and re-install your original stock, just be sure to save the original hardware to use when / if you do re-install the original. These stocks will transform the old Mosins into a completely different looking animal, as well as just make them more ergonomic.
