Dale, This specific firearm is mot on the CA AGO's "Roster of Handguns Certified to Ship" to CA. Do not know why, but it is not on the eligible list.

This is not considered a 'firearm' for purposes of transfer/sale. IT is identified under the Gun Control Act of 68 a an "antique firearm" and is exempt from the restrictions placed on 'firearms'. It can ship right to your front door. Some states however, do have laws concerning the carrying of blackpowder guns. It is not on CA's list of "approved firearms" because it is not a "firearm" as far as sales and transfer purposes. It's literally a huge big mess ... as is so much of our 'regulation' system these days. Yes it can ship to CA. Yes it can ship to your front door.
