Neiko - You'll hardly notice the recoil on this pistol, even is you shoot +P ammo. 9mm are widely used for the simple reason that the recoil is very controllable, and very mild, compared to many other service weapon calibers. You'll be able to shoot this one all day long.

A gun of this size should have a pretty mild recoil. Even with the hottest +P stuff shouldn't give you a hard time.
