I am looking at a Mossberg Patriot with Walnut stock. The appearance of the furniture shown on the web site is enough to sell me the gun in and of itself... What is the chance the rifle I would buy would look even half so good?.

I doubt you'd be disappointed with the actual rifle you'll receive, and if you are - you can always request a return.

Andrew, You will be happy. May have some plastic parts, but they will not send a Patriot with a walnut stock out if the wood does not look great.
