Justin, yes, this pistol comes in a "Hard Plastic" Case.
yes it does mine came with 2 magazines, loading tool and a lock in a plastic case
From what I can find, including looking on the 'auction' sites, the SR 40 is still shipping in a dark grey Ruger plastic case/box. I know the SR 9s are shipping in cardboard boxes, as do Ruger's 1911s, so I am surprised if the SR 40 is still coming in the plastic case. I would guess you could call Buds and verify this, before you buy one. contact Bud's directly at 1-859-368-0371 (9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri) or use the "chat now" button located at the bottom right hand portion of your screen, (9am-9pm EST 7 days a week).
