sorry its not on the Buds list of CA approved firearms https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/search.php/type/Firearms_Longguns/exclusive/ca/sort/per-round-asc/caliber/10000601 However I suggest that you Contact customer service (859) 368-0371 available 9AM to 9PM CST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button and verify that it is not (may be a listing omission and it may be legal ) . we are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions
There is no real reason that it would be illegal in CA seeing as you cannot wrap your thumb around the grip as well as it only comes with a 10 round mag.
I would say, using the 'CA rifle flow chart' the combination of the detachable magazine, that it is an "AR" type, with flash suppressor and collapsible stock would make it non-compliant with California restrictions. It would meet some other states' restrictions, but not California's.
Yes, it is CA compliant plenty of vendors selling this rifle to Californians. ---- http://www.cromwellsfirearms.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=1117_58&product_id=103926
CA legal no way it has a plastic straw and I am not sure a Sharp stick is CA compliant
Bud's customer service rep just told me that due to recent changes in CA legislation, it IS COMPLIANT. I suggested Buds edit their list to include it.
