It will 'fit' but not function properly without an adapter sleeve. Evidently, Beretta WAS (as in past tense) making an adapter to use on the 92/96 mags so they would work in the 9000s, but seems they discontinued it several years ago. I found one 'third party' who appears to have some of these adapters for sale (says has 17 in stock).
