Yes it is, most assuredly.
Bradley, since there really is no SAAMI standard for 380 +P, for warranty and safety reasons, I would verify whether Colt endorses +P in the Colt at Tel: 800-962-COLT (2658) *Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm EST
Bradley - James is correct .. i mis-spoke. As SAAMI has not approved any +P loads in 380, I have to retract what I said and advise you that any +P 380 ammunition is NOT SAAMI APPROVED .. and therefore no gun manufacturer would honor a warranty if an issue cropped up using +P 380 ammo. If you want more power in a small pistol, then you should just go to a 9mm pistol. I apologize. Thanks James for correcting me. BTW Bradley, SAAMI has approved +P loads only in 9mm, 38 special, 38 Super, and 45 acp - anything else is not SAAMI approved, and really should never be used in any firearm. There is NO APPROVED +P+. The +P thing is mostly a marketing gimmick anyway.
sorry its not +p rated in the .380 acp
