Ken - if you already have a rail then this sight should serve you well. It is highly recommended as an 'affordable' red dot, that is durable and reliable. An Aimpoint or Trijicon would be of better quality in the eyes of several, but those sights hit one a bit deeper in the wallet as well. I think this is a good affordable choice, as would be a Vortex Venom. I've used both, and both are very serviceable.
