Albert - This particular one is made in Austria. I never understood all the hulabaloo over where Glocks were made. All Glocks made in the US are made from materials Glock ships from Austria, and made on machines brought over from Austria that are identical to the machinery used in Austria. In many cases, the ones "made in the US' are made from parts brought over from Austria and assembled in Georgia. The only difference in Glocks, is in what the slide says - either made in US or made in Austria. Glock is VERY particular with their manufacturing process and they guard it well. Regardless of origin, Glocks are all made to the very same standard - "Glock Perfection". They ALL came from Austria for several years.
Albert, this one is Austria. There are no differences in quality or materials. The only difference is it's either stamped "USA" or "Austria". Cheers!
Albert, I own two G43, one marked "Made in USA" and the other marked "Made in Austria". I have taken them apart and swapped, barrels, recoil springs and slides between them. They fit and fire perfectly, regardless of the component content with the lower grips. Other than the markings, they are identical in fit, quality and functionality.
