Tyson, Buds needs to update their state lists. This rifle is CA legal.
Tyson - James is in error ... This rifle is not on the CA list for several reasons. The Following are prohibited in CA - Semi-automatic centerfire rifles that do not have a fixed magazine, but have any one of the following features: Pistol grip–a grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the firearm.....Thumbhole stock ..........Folding or telescoping stock .......Grenade or flare launcher ......Flash suppressor or flash hider ....Foregrip–a grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the barrel and in front of the action See: https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf This rifle is NOT CA Compliant.

All bolt action rifles are legal in California as long as they come with a magazine of 10 rounds or less.
This is legal for California because it is a bolt action. I know. I live in California. Buds has a big flaw in their "California Approved" section. There are A LOT MORE guns legal for sale to CA on the site. As long as they're legal they will send them to CA, even if it is not under the section on this site.
