Briam, they are pretty much even function wise. I favor the PM45 for the better stock Sights. http://www.handgunhero.com/compare/kahr-pm45-vs-kahr-cm45
If you are asking for personal opinions .. neither. I've fired the PM45 several times, and the CM is the same basic gun. I would personally recommend you give the S&W M&P Shield 45 a look-over. I've been carrying one daily now for over a year, and have shot it extensively before I adopted it for carry. IT most definitely outshoots the Kahr accuracy wise, and I've never had a malfunction yet, with over 1000 rounds through it (I won't carry a gun that I haven't shot at least 500 rounds, trouble free). The Shield, while small, is actually a pleasure to shoot in 45acp, well balanced, comfortable to shoot and comfortable to carry. The finish is tough, and stands up to daily wear and tear. I'' take a .45 Shield any day over either of he Kahrs, and you won;t find nearly as many blogs concerning trouble with the Shield .45 as you can find about either of these Kahrs. Just my opinion, and I know - everyone has one. But give the Shield a good look.
the PM is basically a upgraded CM IMO
