I believe the original XD has some CA legal models. Notably the ones with 10 round or less magazines, like the .45, or the subcompact .40. Of course the way CA outlaws things, this might not be the case for long. Who knows?

Unfortunately the springfield XDMs aren't on the roster. The magazine would be illegal and the threaded barrel would make it an assault weapon. Gotta love Commiefornia!
