Charles, Bruniton is Beretta's baked-on finish. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, durability, sweat-resistant, while not reflecting light and is similar to Cerakoting process.

Bruniton is a baked on Teflon/polymer finish over Parkerizing. Bruniton is better than blueing and Parkerizing as far as lubricity, corrosion, and wear resistance goes.
