Adam, This stainless steel frame with the Beretta 92 design should be more then capable of handling +P ammunition. Same design of the US military sidearm that handled NATO loads and again the stainless steel frame should be plenty strong.
yes it is fine with occasional +p usage however it will increase wear and require more frequent spring changes
