Definitely no on switching the barrel and most likely no with switching the slide assembly from your Remington. 1911s are nothing like Glock or other modern plastic guns where you can swap uppers around.
Zachary, no, you would need a complete 45 Slide Barrel combo for this to work. Everything would need to be replaced, slide, barrel, recoil spring magazine etc.
Zachary - Um .. you might be able to use the grips .. that would be about all. You just need to buy a .45. It would be cheaper and better in the long run.
No. A .45 is a much bigger round and would require significant modifications.

NO DO not try to make this a 45ACP or any caliber other than 22lr it is a Colt Umarex 22lr which has a ZINK alloy frame which would not be strong enough for a centerfire cartridge
