Michael - The fit on the Hogue Tamer pistol grip/forend kit states : Fits: Mossberg 500, 590 and 835 (Forend will not fit 835 Series)Note: This forend is only compatible to Mossberg Shotguns with a removable forend, any Mossberg Shotgun newer than 2006 should be checked to insure that it has a removable forend with a castle nut. . See nothing about tube length. States Forend is short police style 7 7/8" long, can be used with side saddle. It appears it will fit 590s with no problem. I did see they are 'out of stock' in many places.
