Derrel - yeah, really. AllI have found so far is "Thermal coating" .. whatever that is. I can only assume they aren't talking about it. I found one review that opined the finish was a good one ... That's teh thing - the company doesn't really have to say what they use, especially if it is some proprietary finish. I suggest you call them and ask them what it is. Call at (860) 225-6581. Standard is in the Eastern Time Zone.
